Coblyn
Down at the bottom of the garden, between the toadstools and the wonky pond, the Coblynnod live... an unruly gang of magical gnomes, causing chaos and mischief! One day they stumble across a stranger covered in coal dust, but who is he and where did he come from? Can you help them on their curious quest to uncover the truth?
A family-friendly celebration of Welsh folklore, bursting with mythical mayhem, curious creatures, music, songs and folk dance! Brought to you by Kitsch & Sync Collective, Hijinx and Theatr Iolo.

FREE Family Folk Dance Workshops
February Half Term
Common Room at Chapter in Cardiff
Tuesday 17, Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 February
10.30am – 12pm | 1pm – 2.30pm
In this fun dance workshop, your family will learn a variety of folk dancing elements including learning a full Welsh traditional folk dance called Aberdaugleddau and taken part in your very own Twmpath.
Our workshop facilitator for these sessions is a Welsh speaker, and all sessions will be run bilingually.
When booking, you must have a ticket for each child and adult attending. If you can no longer make it, please contact Chapter to cancel your tickets, so another family can attend in your place.
Each session lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes / trainers. We will have regular breaks, but it would be helpful if everyone can bring a water bottle with them, as this is an active workshop.
Age Guidance: Children aged 7+ and their adults. Younger children are welcome, but we kindly ask you to think carefully about whether they would become restless during the workshop and how you would take care of your whole family's needs. Please note that this is a family workshop and parents / carers cannot leave children alone. We recommend a ratio of at least 1 adult to 4 children.
