Freelance Task Force

Theatr Iolo are excited to announce that they are sponsoring Sarah Argent to take part in the Freelance Task Force, a scheme set up in the wake of COVID-19 to bring together a group of freelance theatre and performance makers in order strengthen their influence and amplify their voice in conversations to come.

“Sarah is an Associate Artist of Theatr Iolo and has dedicated much of her brilliant and significant career to making theatre for children and babies. Sarah was approached by Theatr Iolo as we wanted to sponsor a practitioner who has demonstrated continued commitment to TYA and has years of experience in this often under-valued sector. Sarah is an older artist who has flown the flag for children’s arts over the years and presented work in nurseries, schools and children's centres and theatres throughout communities in Wales and beyond. She has inspired and mentored many other artists in making their own work for children. We believe Sarah is best placed to connect with freelancers working in this field today and help ensure the longevity of TYA in Wales for years to come.”
